Bioinformatics Success Module
A collaborative effort between an instructional designer and a program advisor, this student success module was designed as a mini-course that instructors can access from the Commons and add to their course to help students improve their life skills such as time management, and see the importance of doing so.
The challenge was to design a learning experience that would engage and motivate all students, from traditional students coming to the program from undergrad to those who have work experience. The module incorporates eye-catching design elements, as well as interactive components, such as tabs, to properly chunk content.
The University of Delaware is a privately governed, state-assisted land-grant research university.
